Clicking on Proceed to Checkout redirects to categories page

Hi,

If user click on Proceed to Checkout button (logged in or not) it redirects them to Checkout page but displaying the categories.

this only happens for some users, I have never been able to replicate the issue.

Hey @support _truela

Can you please look at .htaccess file or url_rewrite table?

You will find 301 or other redirection method

Hope it helps.

Hello @support _truela

Are you using any one page checkout or normal checkout? it redirects to category page or showing categories at checkout?

Thank you

Re: Clicking on Proceed to Checkout redirects to categories page

Hi,

I believe there is no issue with htaccess because the issue is not occurring for all users and also it is occurring intermittently for few users because the same user who was unable to order earlier is able to place order successfully later

Thank you

Re: Clicking on Proceed to Checkout redirects to categories page

Hi,

Also,it is showing categories in /checkout#shipping page in a broken design manner with page header and footer. Nothing else is showing in page body

Thank you

Re: Clicking on Proceed to Checkout redirects to categories page

Hi,

One more thing we have noticed is that only old customers are facing this issue. Meaning the customers we have migrated from Magento 1.

Any chance we can re-register these customers without impacting reward points and credentials ?

thank you
