The Readiness Check under System>Web Setup Wizard>Component Manager (& System Upgrade) repeatedly fails at "Check Component Dependency" leaving the error:

We found conflicting component dependencies. Hide detail

For additional assistance, see component dependency help .

Reviewing the support at the "component dependency help" link doesn't provide much help.

I'm not sure where to start to resolve this; I'm running v2.0.0 installed on a Bitnami VM. It's possibly a permissions problem but I've tried numerous permission changes with no luck.

Yep, completely unhelpful, too, because it doesn't actually tell you anything at all as to what the issue is, unlike what the help page would suggest. 

Update: Double-check/update your cron jobs.  See my other post,  System Upgrade: conflicting component dependencies.
