I am working locally with Mamp 4
I did a fresh composer install of Magento 2 went to component manager and it worked as it should, no issues at all.
BUT as soon as I uploaded a package/module via CLI
composer require apps/module
composer update
bin/magento setup:upgrade
Component Manager breaks and doesn't load, just an endless spinning wheel.
