Cron job not running

I am running Magento 2.4.2 and Centos 7.

My Magento cron job is not running which I installed as the Magento file system owner via the command bin/magento cron:install

I also have a cron job run by root which executes system routines and it runs successfully.

I added the following command to the root cron job and the commands executed correctly but I ten started to get permissions issues on the log files in /var/logs

* * * * * [path]php -f [store root]/bin/magento cron:run >> [store root]/var/log/magento.cron.log 2>&1;

Any ideas? What should I be doing to get my cron jobs to run correctly?

Hi @skinnybloke,

You can grant permissions to your entire project. If you only give permission to each folder it will ask permission whenever a new folder is created.
