Hi, I saw a couple similar questions to this over the last 5 years, but no answers, so hoping someone since has an idea how to manage this.
Our eCommerce site is on Magento 2 (currently upgrading to 2.4), and uses Cybersource for our main payment authenticator.
I'm relatively new to the company, so I was checking historical conversion data, and noticed that Google Analytics is reporting a huge spike in conversion rate from referral traffic when the company went from Magento 1 to Magento 2 in 2021. With the upgrade to Magento 2, they also shifted from the former payment portal to Cybersource. Cybersource is now being reported as a major referral source. Not all Cybersource checkouts are referral visits though!
How can I set up my checkout process so that Google Analytics doesn't register a significant percentage of our Cybersource checkouts as new referral visits?
