How to remove images on import

Hi. I need to bulk update most product images on my Magento 2.1.

I can easily add new images via csv import, but I haven't been able to figure out how to delete the old ones, or at least hide them from the store front...

I have tried to include the hide_from_product_page field on my import sheet and add the old image to this both as image.jpg and /i/m/image.jpg, but this is not working.

How do I go about to remove the old images from my store during csv product update?

There is no any way to delete old images via CSV import. But you can delete old image using make custom script. or you can do this via CSV import is to delete all images and reimport only the ones that you want to remain.

Export your products you want to delete the images on. Reimport them and select the delete option. Then for a second time import them again with only the images you want to be added
