We have over 500 categories and we had never had a problem until the last few days. For days we can create new categories without problem but then when entering a product page we can not assign this product to the new category because it does not appear in the list of categories.
The category is visible on the frontend and the backend in the category tree.
I have tried to clear cache, reindex and nothing.
Any idea what can happen?
