I am using Magento 2.3.4
PH Version :7.1
Please help me if anyone know how to fix the issue thanks in advance
Details Issues :
When changing the quantity of a product from any number to 0, the state is automatically changed to Out of Stock upon saving. However, when changing an out of stock product to any number and saving, the product is still listed as Out of Stock.
Steps to reproduce
The product’s state is automatically changed to In Stock
The product is still listed as Out of Stock despite the quantity change.
One must manually remember to also set In Stock which is a inconvenient step and not working as one would expect because the other way the state is changed.
@Ansarul146 This is the default magento feature.
They haven't provide this functionality yet so this is not the issue that is having with you only.
Magento works in this manner only when you change the qty to 0 it will change its status to "Out of stock" automatically but we have to manually change the status to "In stock" when you increase the qty from 0 to something else.
Any news about this issue?
I have the same problem with Magento 2.3.3
Same issue in 2.4.3-p1, have to manually or mass change any qty more than 0 to in stock. Magento 2 is a nightmare when it comes to managing stock and keep things updates.
I'm having a problem with a Magento site where the In Stock/Out of Stock state is not updating. I have several products which are not in stock, so I go to the product, change the quantity to zero, but when I go back to the catalog, the product is still in stock as professional resume writers australia just told me. In fact, it doesn't matter if I change the price or anything, it keeps showing that it's in stock.
