Incorrect Total and Subtotal in my orders

While inserting data manually into Magento db , Customer>My orders grand total and sub total data are populated incorrectly. Could someone please help me to know the table and columns from which these data are populated. How can we insert data into tables such that  grand total and sub total are  sum of items in the order list. Thanks in advance.
