Magento 2.3.3 Google Shopping API error

We have strange error and some problems to debug, Help is appreciated.

Trying to setup in Magento 2.3.3. the embedded Google Shopping ads.

We have multistore, multi website so we need several GMC accounts.
We already have existing GMC account but wanted to see how the embedded solution is working.

This is what I do and what goes wrong.

- Backend Magento - > Marketing -> Google Shopping Adds
- Create GMC Account (for let us say 'www.website-b.com'
- This will create account for our website. So far so good.

- Now in our merchants.google.com we directly see a additional account with the just created extra GMC Account ID

So this is looking promising.

Now 5 minutes later this GMC account is no longer visible from our merchants.google.com, just disapeared.

So we go back to backend Magento. We see site url unclaimed.

- So from Magento backend. Click 'GMC Account website-b.com' 'view details'
- Click settings - edit url (I see all is good). Now click 'save changes' to confim URL

We see error 'Update Account Error: Could not connect to GMC API'

So apparantly the API has error.

But var/logs give no clues, how can we debug what is going wrong?

Because we can not claim URL if we can not enter the google.merchant.com with the assigned account id.

I have a similar problem. GMC account was created then disappeared. In the settings menu, it's all grayed out.

I used to run basic Shoppings ads in Google Ads but I unclaimed my website in my old GMC account. I'm still stuck. Did you get any luck?

I also had the same problem as yours, in Magento 2.3.3 Google Shopping Ads.

But the GMC account ID is linked and displayed in the Google Ads.  But the account ID is not shown anywhere in merchants.google.com
