Magento 2 - Random Images being assigned to newly added products - HELP!

Hi guys,

My first post here, so please be gentle.

I'm trying to add a product to a newly developed Magento 2 Community Edition site for my client who sell musical instruments online.

Behaviour Description:

1) We're adding a product perfectly with all relevant attributes being added correctly. (Path - Login > Catalogue > Products > Add Product > Complete all relevant attributes > upload images > Save Prpduct

2) When we upload the product images they appear fine.

3) Once the product gets saved however, random images from already uploaded products are being pulled in and assigned to that product.

At present these random images are showing on the store front and this is very frustrating.

Has anyone else seen this or have a solution?

I can't see the link, did you share it?

Our developers cleared the cache and resynced the database and that seems to have sorted the issue.  Apparently clearing the cache and resyncing everything is the equivalent of turning it on/off again with Magento 2!

We are having the same issue, but reindexing and clearing the cache is not fixing the problem. Why is this issue occurring? How do I prevent future occurrences?

Even we are facing a similar issue. We are on Magento 2.3.4 cloud.

Did you manage to fix the issue?
