Magento MSI and elastic search

Hello,

We have installed Magento 2.3.3 and we are using for our stock the MSI functionality. We've configured the elastic search on the server and as soon as we activate it in the Store/Configuration/Catalog - Search menu ( replace the mysql with Elasticsearch) all the products in the sore frontend disappear. Our conclusion for this fact is that the elastic search module is using the default stock attribute in Magento, for which all our products have 0 qty as stock ( the stocks are in the MSI module). This would explain why none of the products are displayed. What should we change so we can use the elastic search module integrated in Magento.

Really appreciate the help for solving this issue.

Re: Magento MSI and elastic search

Hi,

Yes, MSI takes default stock on elastic search. I've configured MSI, elastic search with default stock 0 and other store with stock and not working if ES enabled. So I think default can in_stock always and website wise can create separate source and assign stock, so then it's working fine. On PDP it's working fine without any issues.
