Magento has changed all the product URLs to what the product name is and overridden what I had entered. I now have duplicate URLs as some product names were not unique. My web developer is saying it happened with the upgrade but it didn’t as the URLs were fine then and I noticed thousands of rewrites had appeared in admin when I noticed that the URLs had changed and he says the backup he has is corrupted and sent me a spreadsheet to fill in re what I want to change them too and will import them. I’m fuming to say the least. How am I suppose to remember what I had before! There are 3500 products! Some that I do remember I’ve tried typing in and 404 errors come up so surely the redirects haven’t worked? Can anything be done to undo this, which doesn’t involve me spending hours / days changing them individually or filling in a spreadsheet?
