Miscellaneous HTML

When placing code in the Miscellaneous HTML portion of the design settings, it saves successfully however the code doesn't actually end up being placed in the footer before the body closing tag.

Is there a fix for this?

I actually visited this thread (http://magento.stackexchange.com/questions/100673/miscellaneous-html-not-showing) in StackExchange and found a solution to this Magento 2 problem.

Instead of pasting the script in  Stores > Configuration > General > Design > Footer > Miscellaneous HTML, I pasted in Stores > Configuration > General -> Design -> HTML Head -> Miscellaneous Scripts and it worked!

Hope this helps someone else.
