Paypal Button Working Shopping Cart But Not at Checkout

My Magento 2.3.7 website is having issues with Paypal. We are using Braintree Payment Gateway (Gene) with Amastys One Page Checkout.

The Paypal button is working at the shopping cart page e.g. When you click on it the Paypal popup window appears and you can login and pay. But if your at the checkout page and you choose Paypal and click the button nothing happens. Occasionally I will see a spinning icon but most times I won't. I had the same problem with this shopping cart not working at the checkout. After checking all of my links and finding out that nothing was wrong, it turned out to be an issue on PayPal's end. One of my friends asked me to use this link to go to the website to get my assignments written on time.
