SKU CODES problem while uploading bulk products

i am having problem while uploading bulk products.

Let suppose i am uploading 3 products having SKU following

SFP-10G-AOC1.5M-AO
SFP-10G-AOC1-5M-AO
SFP-10G-AOC1/5M-AO

while uploading my slugify function convert the first SKU to (SFP-10G-AOC1-5M-AO)

Second to (SFP-10G-AOC1-5M-AO) and third to (SFP-10G-AOC1-5M-AO).. 

At the end i am having error of same sku.. can it be handle in magento?

Hi @ayesha_khalid 

I understand the problem you are facing.

Actually issue occurs over here is not for product SKU but it is for URL Key - it means you can add / (Slash), . (Dot) and other symbols in the product sku and it will allowed as well.

But for URL key you can not add such kind of special characters - so when you are importing Product Sku you URL key column is blank because it automatically generated so to resolve this problem i would suggest you to fill-up the URL key for each product by removing special character and making slight change

It will works for you.
