Security Scan issue

Good Afternoon, 

I am trying to run a security audit on the Magento 2 application using an application security scan (not the Magento scan) but whenever I run the scanning, the Magento 2 application does not respond anymore. It keeps loading and then a "Time Out" error shows up. 

Do you have any idea why does this happen, knowing that the Magento application is on development mode and the server responds well?

Which application security scan tool are using ? to scan the magento 2 website ?

could you please give more insight on this . so its help us to troubleshoot the issue
