In my admin if you go to for example Catalog > Categories & edit any category, all of the system attribute are showing in text rather than in a dropdown. Example is Display Setting > Display Mode is not showing a dropdown put the text "PRODUCT_AND_PAGE" which is the value for the setting "Static Blocks & Products".
This is happening across the board on these attributes, another example is the tax_class_id which is set in the Product Attribute as a dropdown but displays as a text box with the ID of the assigned tax class rather than the name of that tax.
Can anyone help me understand this? These no info on the web about anyone who has hit this issue.
