YouTube URL not found - API is entered

I have got the You Tube API key in the setup which then allows me to enter a YouTube or Vimeo URL - but the URL's I try all say URL is not found. What am I doing wrong, tried the browser URL, with and without https , tried iframe, what am I missing please,

It turns out that the Google docs seem a little bit wrong or vague and the http referer format I was using with a * did block the access. So I removed the stars and just used my root domain and it worked.

Anyway, thanks for everybody's help, I mean, thanks for letting me work it out myself over the last week with absolutely no interest at all... any other good Magento forums?
