sitemap.xml and robots.txt confusion

I setup the robots.txt file with custom entries under content > design > configuration

I also setup the sitemap under marketing.

The sitemap is fine and generates but I cannot find the robots.txt file.

If I navigate to it, it just contains 1 line of text. 

Sitemap: http://xxx.xxx.com/sitemap/sitemap.xml

So it is there, somewhere, I just can't find it and I don't know what that Sitemap reference is in the robots file. Am I missing something ?

Hi @mousepad 

I am not clear but exactly you are looking for. But if you are looking for the robots.txt file. It would be on your website root directory. And if it is not there you can check your /pub directory inside Magento root directory.
