Come on admit it - 2.1.6 is a disaster. When can we expect a fix?

Just wasted a day finding more stuff borked in 2.1.6 - OK for Linux, Windows needs a core change to get it going, which is garbage for shops like us which use the same code base on both platforms and still can with 2.1.5.

Well fair's fair - got to admit for me, 2.1.7 fixed all my issues. Nicest was the way one particular "Images.php" file was borked for Windows, so every checkout meant we had to remember to overwrite it with one we'd fixed manually for that platform. The image resize reversion also worked. Only big issue now is why development on Win 7 is so **bleep** slow. Production is OK.
