There are not any new tools available for Magento 2.1.8 Release.

It clearly states on http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.1/migration/migration-tool-install.html

Make sure you are using the same released version of both Magento 2 and the Data Migration Tool. For example, for Magento version 2.1.2, you must also use the Data Migration Tool version 2.1.2.

So a tool will be released, for 2.1.7 it was released 2 or 3 days after the magento release. I assume it would be around the same time frame, so asking for an ETA.
