Need help with Magento 2

Hi all,

I'm interested in learning Magento 2 and would eventually like to achieve the 'Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer' certificate. Where are some good places for me to start learning? The Magento website does a course where it'll cost me ~£3500, i can't justify paying this at the minute, is there something else i can do to start learning / push me in the right direction?

Open to any suggestions and all is very appreciated.

If you are new to Magento i would like to suggest you to go for "Magento 2 Certified Associate Developer Exam".

You can find the course for this exam from the link below.

You just have to read every topic from Magento Dev Docs.

They have written the enough content for the study and you can find each and every topic there.

And if you want to go deeper with any topic just follow tutorials on you tube.

But i would like to give one suggestion here that if you want to go deeper in a topic first check the percentage ratio from the syllabus for that topic.

If it is covering 30-40% of your exam then go for it otherwise dev docs is enough.

And when you find yourself ready for the exam just practice by giving 2-4 tutorial tests.

You can do the same if you want to prepare for 'Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer'.

One of the most important thing is experience. Practical experience of 1 year on Magento is important to go for exam.

The first exam I would advise you to go with Magento 2 associate developer even if you have experience and knowledge.

Go for devdocs as @Rahul Gupta suggested.

Magento u guys also give user guide where all the points are mentioned to be focused to study on depending on certification you want to go with.

Lastly you can also go through swiftotter guide and test which will give you overview what type of questions you may face. Tests doesn't contain any question like real exam but at least contain the idea of questions area.
