Upgrade Magento 2.2.3 to Magento 2.3 setup:upgrade problem

I have installed many times 2.3 and always end us on the same issue, I run setup:update and it does not work, I continue getting the same issue, how can i get this resolved?

I did follow your advice from another post, I'm not 100% happy, support is working on the issues during migration, starting with Magento 2.3 having issues specially on uploading images and saving content. The migration import each item and creates the same attributes set for all items, add a prefix to each attributes, very annoying when you create a new item or edit content. descriptions on categories are very persistent from the migration, no matter you change the content on the backend, for some reason it does not change on front end.

Looks like we need to wait for 2.3.1 to get a stable version to work. too many issues.

Any idea if there is a way to get a working version from step one, I have tried even with sample date and I repeat the same issues.
