Additionally to the ones mentioned previously in Magento 2 were introduced the following functionality features (enhancements comparing to M1):

- enhanced admin grid (ability to add columns to filter and view data)

- images drag&drop+ ability to use youtube videos instead of static images

- quick configurable generator

- improved import with ability to upload custom options, tier prices, related goods, tax rates etc.
