Pull Requests of note

During the month of May, we merged 455 pull requests across all our repositories. We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who contributed.

One notable pull request that was merged in May was from Neill Robson. This pull request updates the UI Components definition map to add complex types as valid options for the formElement node. You can find this pull request at https://github.com/magento/magento2/pull/15161 if you would like to look at it.

Andreas von Studnitz became the first community member to submit a pull request on the Magento devdocs repository to provide documentation for a feature he developed. Many thanks to Andreas.

How to get involved

As always, if you are interested in finding out more about contributing to Magento, we recommend getting involved in the community engineering Slack channel (email requests to join to engcom@magento.com). We also have a wide selection of projects currently running and have just started with phase 2 of the BulkAPI, payment improvements and GraphQL projects. If you are interested in participating in one of these projects, take a look at the project overview page and let us know.
