Magento_2.3.1_Announcement.jpg

On March 26, Magento plans to release Magento 2.3.1 Open Source and Magento Commerce including the powerful Page Builder content editing tool, inventory and performance enhancements as well as developer and security updates. We also plan to release updates for Magento  1,  2.1, and 2.2  on the same day. These releases include important security enhancements, and it is recommended to prepare to update your Magento versions promptly.

Page Builder

Page Builder officially releases exclusively with Commerce 2.3.1. No coding is required to design and develop stunning online stores. Features include drag-and-drop content creation, live previews during storefront design, and form editors for ease of data collection. Update and design the look and feel of your content with new content block editors. And much more.

Documentation includes Page Builder overviews and instructions in the Magento User Guide, and DevDocs content for custom development and extensions. All guides include tutorials and examples with files to follow-along.

Planned Releases

Magento is dedicated to providing as many security fixes and updates as quickly as possible to support all merchants, across all Magento versions and editions. We plan to release updates, release notes, and documentation for the following Magento versions on the same day:

  • Magento Commerce and Magento Open Source 2.3.1, 2.2.8 and 2.1.17
  • Magento Open Source 1.9.4.1
  • Magento Commerce 1.14.4.1

We encourage merchants and partners to consider upgrading to 2.3.1 to take advantage of new features and security updates. To learn more, see Availability information and Tech Resources.
