1. Categorise customers:
You can Create a new customer group called "Loyal Customers", etc.
2. Create a Cart Price Rule:
Log in to your Magento 2 Admin panel.
Navigate to Marketing > Promotions > Cart Price Rules.
Click on the Add New Rule button.
3. Configure Rule Information:
Rule Name: Enter a name for the rule (e.g., "Special Discount for Loyal Customers").
Description: Optionally, add a description for internal use.
Status: Set to Active.
Customer Groups: Select the customer groups (Loyal customers) to which this rule will apply. If the customer belongs to a specific group, select that group.
Coupon: Set to No Coupon if you want the discount to apply automatically.
Uses per Customer: You can limit how many times a customer can use this discount.
4. Set Conditions:
In the Conditions section, click on the + button to add a new condition.
Select Customer Attribute > Customer Group.
Choose the customer group the specific customer belongs to.
Alternatively, if you want to apply the discount only to a specific customer, select Customer ID and specify the customer's ID.
5. Set Actions:
Apply: Choose how the discount should be applied (e.g., Percent of product price discount, Fixed amount discount, etc.).
Discount Amount: Set the discount value.
Apply to Shipping Amount: Decide whether the discount applies to the shipping amount.
Stop Further Rules Processing: Set to Yes if you don't want any other rules to be applied after this one.
6. Labels:
In the Labels section, enter a label for the discount that will be shown to the customer during checkout.
7. Save the Rule:
After configuring all the settings, click on Save and Continue Edit or Save Rule.
8. Test the Discount:
Log in as the specific customer group and add products to the cart to ensure the discount is applied automatically.
