how do I configure for cross over image of out of stock in product detail in magento 1.9.

Can you share a public URL?

I guess you'll find the answer checking the code on your browser (probably there will be a css rule with the path to the image or the css definition)

You should be able to change the image and/or change the css definition.

What if I wanna do it without making any changes in the CSS. Are there extensions available for this?
