Lysergic acid hylamide (lysergamide, Delysid) is an ergot alkaloid that is a natural product of the rye fungus Claviceps. However, most of the Lysergic acid hylamide consumed illicitly is derived by synthesis involving the reaction of lysergic acid with hylamine.
