Were we the only company using Enterprise not notified of Magento's 'New' Licensing Terms until time of renewal? As many of you may already know they have moved from a 'per server' licensing agreement to a 'tiered model' based on your store's revenue. This alone has increased our yearly fee by 40%!
This new licensing structure is a great attraction for start-ups which is what I think is their full intent knowing good and well it would take a great deal of effort for any existing businesses to move to a new platform. It appears new ownership at Magento has a new focus and it is not customer-centric. But what's new in business right?
