Order confirmation email not sending

Email not sening to customer when order place and also not  getting when someone register on website pls tell me solution asap.using Magento ver. 1.9.2.1.

Hi @sopandose811,

Can you check your Magento logs (system.log and exception.log) and maybe the webserver error log to try to find some error related with the SMTP or emails in general?

is your cron running? Since Magento 1.9.something Magento sends transactional emails with cron.
