SEO for multi country website

Hello,

I am creating a furniture store (magento 2), and I target several areas : UK, Ireland, France. So I have a .ie., .co.uk and .fr

I know that I can have a hreflang tag so that I tell google that the products are the same and not duplicated, but is it a problem for SEO? I mean, the UK and IE version will have the same text, google will have to index two pages instead of one, no? I would have create a .com for UK and IE, but the currency is different, so it's not possible.

It's my first multi country store, so any clue or advise will be warmly welcomed

Hi,

Yes, it's biggest issue for multi country targeting. But for solution you can do like that.

Don't create a new ecommerce platform each country, create one portal and link with multiply country domain. When they access with one country you can redirect to that particular URL. 

So here no more duplication, you can get good score with SEO.
