PWA Studio v12.5 is available

PWA Studio v 12.5.0 released in June delivering the out of the box storefront customer behavior tracking! Now merchants have access to insights of their customers journey and can make use of this data to optimize their experience with Adobe Experience Platform.

We collect the following storefront events by default:

  • Cart operations
  • Mini cart views
  • Page views
  • Product impressions and clicks
  • Search requests
  • User account actions

Additionally, we included multiple accessibility improvements around color contrast to make the experience of using storefront for visually impaired customers better.

API Mesh for Adobe Developer App Builder (Beta Program)

Adobe is pleased to announce the beta program for API Mesh with Adobe Commerce. Based on the idea of API-first development, the API Mesh helps customers easily bring together multiple sources of data and microservices from across their organization into a single unified layer. Customers can integrate API for content, assets, search, shipping, inventory, and other applications with their commerce API to deliver rich experiences to shoppers.

For developers, adding API and data sources to the API Mesh can be done through simple configurations. The API Mesh helps developers monitor and secure their API globally.

The API Mesh helps with reducing both, time-to-value, as well as the cost of ownership of integrations.

Adobe Commerce customers relying on headless architecture and having multiple API sources being used for shoppers’ requests execution, that are interested in participating in the Beta program for the API Mesh can apply here.

If you are interested in learning more about the Beta Program, visit the Beta Program page.

Adobe Experience Makers Live

As a member of the Adobe Commerce community with deep knowledge on ecommerce, we’d like to officially invite you to become a Networking Ambassador for Experience Makers Live!

Experience Makers Live is a 2-day event on September 13-14, 2022 that brings together thousands of Adobe, customers, partners and other guests for an event follow-up to Adobe Summit. The event is hyper-focused on our customers, and one of our biggest areas of focus is live networking. We will be using the Braindate networking platform to hold small group meetings.

As a Networking Ambassador, you would choose topics from ecommerce categories and set up small group meetings on the Braindate platform. Examples of these topics could be about specific features of Adobe Commerce or higher level discussions (such as ecommerce best practices or how to thrive in business adversity.) These networking sessions would include 3-10 people each for a small group discussion. Session date and time would be determined by you.

If you are interested, please let us know! Here are key dates to keep in mind:

Key Dates:

  • Aug 8th: Braindate Platform opens to Networking Ambassadors
  • August 9th: Training webinar for Ambassadors
  • August 22nd: Braindate Platform opens to the public
