Adobe is pleased to announce the beta program for API Mesh with Adobe Commerce. The API Mesh helps customers easily bring together multiple sources of data and microservices from across their organization into a single unified layer. Customers can integrate API for content, assets, search, shipping, inventory, and other applications with their commerce API to deliver rich experiences to shoppers.
For developers, adding API and data sources to the API Mesh can be done through simple configurations. Additionally, the API Mesh helps developers monitor, secure, and scale their API globally while providing API extensibility in a low code / no code environment.
The API Mesh helps with reducing both, time-to-value, as well as the cost of ownership of integrations. Adobe Commerce customers deploying multiple integrations or extensions, that are interested in participating in the Beta program for the API Mesh can apply here.
If you are interested in learning more about the Beta Program, visit the Beta Program page.
Product Recommendations will soon have indicators to inform merchants when each of the different recommendation types is ready to use. This helps remove the guesswork of when a recommendation unit has enough data to be deployed so merchants can see immediate results. Check the release notes for updated information.
Open new sales streams with Channel Manager! The Adobe Commerce team is excited to announce the release of our new functionality, Channel Manager for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source.
Channel Manager is a free extension created by Adobe to help U.S.-based merchants increase their sales, reach new customers, streamline their operations, and save valuable time by integrating their online catalog, inventory, pricing, and orders with Walmart Marketplace, the second largest marketplace nationwide. Marketplace transaction fees may apply after setup.
For more information on this and other Adobe Commerce feature updates, view our Adobe blog.
All extensions that are not compatible with 2.4.4 will be de-listed from the Marketplace on July 5th, 2022. Please submit your extension as soon as possible to prevent it from being de-listed. Thank you for helping our customers run frictionless upgrades to the latest Adobe Commerce versions!
As you might have noticed, the migration of our merchant and developer content to Adobe information sites has been making steady progress. We announced the new home for all of our Services documentation on the Experience League in the March newsletter. Most recently, we have moved a more of our guides over to the Adobe Experience League and the Adobe Developer sites.
We remain committed to our open contribution model for our documentation, and we have public repositories in the AdobeDocs organization on GitHub.
