Adobe Commerce Marketplace is now accepting App Builder submissions
Starting June 13th, 2023, the Adobe Commerce Marketplace will begin accepting submissions for listing of App Builder apps. App Builder is our next-gen extensibility platform giving developers all the tools and services needed to build secure and scalable apps for Adobe Commerce. Developers will now be able to publish their apps to the Adobe Commerce Marketplace, the trusted source for businesses to discover and purchase high-quality apps to meet their needs. You can submit your app for review through the Developer Portal.
Adobe is waiving commission fees on Adobe Commerce for sales of applications built using Adobe Developer App Builder and submitted via Adobe’s Developer Portal in 2023. Adobe will waive commission for two years from the date that an App is listed on Adobe Commerce Marketplace.
Adobe reserves the right to charge commission on sales of Apps submitted after 2023. Adobe will communicate the commission model for Apps submitted outside of 2023 at a later date.
Need access to App Builder? Solution Partners at the Bronze level and above can now request an App Builder sandbox within the Adobe Solution Partner Portal.
Adobe Commerce to release new B2B commerce quoting tools
Adobe Commerce will release a new version of its B2B Module on June 13. Sales reps and B2B customers can negotiate deals at a line-item level and exchange communication regarding terms and discounts. This new module marks the first in a series of releases that are designed to help sales reps close more deals, customers manage their complex relationships, and bring CDP to B2B ecommerce businesses. Security Center on Site-Wide Analysis Tool
The new Security Center dashboard is now available within the Site Wide Analysis Tool. The Security Center streamlines all security information into a single dashboard, making it easier to stay on top of security vulnerabilities. The Security Center dashboard brings in multiple sources of security insights into a single, easy-to-access view of:
· Security recommendations & best practices
· Tech stack version compliance & EOL services
· Security Scan Tool alerts
· Adobe Security Bulletin
Community Prioritization Process for Magento Open Source
The Magento Open Source Community Prioritization Process initiative empowers the community to influence the Magento Open Source roadmap and code base by upvoting the pull requests that brings most value to them. We then pick the most up voted PRs (Pull Requests) to work on and add them to the community dashboard with a purple label - “Project: Community Picked.” We added another 10 PRs this month for processing based on the votes from the community. The progress update for this month will be out soon. Please check the real time status of all the pull requests added under this process on the dashboard.
