Magento2 MagentoConnect: What can we expect?

I got the information that with Magento2 there comes a new Magento Connect which is focused on extension quality. I have several questions for that:

- When is the new Magento Connect public? Where is it?

- How does the submission process of an extension work?

- How can customers buy these extensions?

- Will Magento charge a fee for selling extensions?

- What requirements must a extension fullfil in order to get a successful submission for Magento Connect?

Here's what I know so far about the new Magento Connect:-

- It will work with both Magento 1.x and Magento 2.x

- It will most likely launch with Magento 2 General Availability (GA) 

- Both free and paid extensions will be hosted with Magento Connect

I'm not too sure about the submission process, requirements and fees (if any) for the new Magento Connect but I'm sure we will all know more about it when it is nearer to release.
