What payment gateway to choose?

I am trying to setup the e-commerce platform with Magento but I need some tips and guidelines regarding which payment gateway to choose.

E-way is an option..however we want to opt for a gateway that does not charge a lot per transaction.

I am trying to figure this out as well.  I believe that the PayPal Payflow payment gateway is compatible with Magento and it only cost $5/month and charges either $0.05 or $0.10 per transaction.  I have not seen anything better out there.  Contact me to discuss further if you want.
