I think it's good to have an ability to let people open paid gigs when urgent needs arise and community members can bid there to quickly help them out.
I guess it would be super helpful for small business owners that don't have onsite developers to make small adjustments and add some features. I think Shopify is already doing it and a lot of peopel get benefits from it.
