Contact Us form error: SMTP server response: 550 5.1.0 <you@yourdomain> must authenticate

Hi all,

I've configured a Contact us Form, but when I try to send a message I get an application error:

Impossible to send the messa, please try later.

checking the log I can see:

SMTP server response: 550 5.1.0 <you@yourdomain> must authenticate

I've set the SMTP server by admin panel, but I don't know hout to set username and password for authentication.

Please help me, maybe my approach is wrong, I'm new to magento.

For SMTP in magento 2,

You need to set username as your Gmail email id and password as email password.

Save Configuration and clear cache.
