The order does not exists. The customer email has been sent. The quote exists.

we have a problem with creating of orders. In case of higher server load, some orders has not been created. The transactional order email has been sent to the customer allright.

Do you have any idea why this could happen? The logs files of Magento are without errors. The server log file for mysql is without errors also. Is possible to check if the order has been created alright?

Another question is about deleting of orders via external tools. In standard administration is not possible to delete orders. However, it is possible to do it via external tools. So, my question is. Exists the way to find out which user has deleted some orders via external tools?

We have experienced the same thing. Quote exists, mail is sent but no order. We have only learned about the two cases so far because the customers have asked about the status of their orders.

Does anyone know anything about this?
