LOST IN MAGENTO!! :D

LOST IN MAGENTO!! :D

hello everyone

i have many questions as my knowledge is super limited on magento but i mostly want to know who to hire to be able to certain things on my site. for example i am under the impression that SEO for magento is different from other platforms, is that true? whom can i consult with that knows magento SEO and not just SEO in general, i want actual results

also need to find someone to do certain changes for me or help with some general errors i have like orders not showing up in grid (seems to be a common problem), someone to install extensions for me if needed, i wanna receive order notifications now but i was told perhaps my email client setup with magento is not working properly, ...

is there like community recommendations here of people who do work with magento 2 i can consult with, just seems like there are an abundance of developers for magento whom varry in costs so much i dont' know where to start

Hi @shirzad_entezari,

Welcome to the community forums!

The best way to start is to ask and try to help into the forums.

You'll find information on StackExchange too and you can start diving into the http://devdocs.magento.com/ not only for learning but to correct and improve the docs.

Another recomendation could be to be aware of Magento issues on Github: https://github.com/magento/magento2/issues (if you are technical, of course).

If you need qualified support maybe you can check one of these options:

Also, you should read this post: https://community.magento.com/t5/Welcome-to-the-Magento-Community/Start-here-and-hello-from-me/m-p/5... (in particular the guidelines)

Fianlly, you'll need to get your hands dirty with the platform.

Cheers.
