Hi, guys. I had mixed feelings before about Magento 2 migration. But recently I’ve heard, that since this month, there will no longer be any official security patches for Magento 1. And therefore, it’s time to embrace change and upgrade to Magento 2, because otherwise, you’ll be a sitting duck for hackers. What you think? Is this for real?
It's a bit of a mix:
It typically takes months to migrate. Many users are creating stopgap plans that include a patching provider like Mage-One and additional security on the web hosting side of things too (WAF, Intrusion Detection, Malware Scanners, 24/7 Monitoring). For a more detailed checklist, check out: https://blog.clear.sale/magento-1-end-of-life-a-helpful-checklist
Now is definitely a good time to re-consider migrating to Magento 2, but in the meantime, there's no reason to be a sitting duck.
Best of luck!
Update. I found this article https://elogic.co/blog/magento-1-to-magento-2-migration-guide/ and contacted the team of Magento developers, they helped me to build a plan and development strategy.
Magento Migration is the talking point!
Yes, Magento has rounded off all support for M1 but this does not mean your website is in dilemma.
Migration is the best solution and there is no risk of losing data or anything like that if you are worried about that. There are many service providers who are able to migrate your store from M1 to M2 without affecting the revenue of the store.
But if you are not ready to migrate, Risk is real but manageable!
There are some tech-companies who can give support for M1, you can take help from them, below link will be helpful to in both options, have a look once:

It's again the question of what's keeping you from upgrading Magento 1 to Magento 2. You might have endless list of products or customers and think it's too risky to upgrade? Or it can simply be the case you don't want to stop your business for a while, worrying about missing order during the process (good news it's possible to receive orders while upgrading).
The process might take times to complete, either quick or long, it's worth your efforts.
