image uploader not working after patch

Running Magento 1.8 recently applied a few patches but one of them being Patch 8788.

The image uploader no longer works. I've read a bunch of post about the most but cannot find a clear fix for this issue. 

When I upload the image nothing happens just blank. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

Have you found a solution for this? I'm also having the same issue on 1.8 and tried all solutions on this forum without success.

We would highly aprriciate if you can tell us more about the problems you guys are expering.

What version of Magento? What Patch did you tried to apply ? Does the error logs says anything? Have you red the post about the supe 8788 and image uploader solutions?
