Magento WordPress Integration by FishPig - possible to use WP shortcodes/functions?

I have a WordPress + Magento integration through FishPig extension.

Just wondered if it's possible to use WP shortcodes (some from WP plugins) / functions in Magento's scripts?

As I know, "Fishpig WordPress Integration" magento extension can't use WordPress plugins of 3rd party, can't use WordPress themes. It only support a little plugin and we have to buy at here http://fishpig.co.uk/magento/wordpress-integration.
Same for "WordPress Shortcodes". Here is WordPress shortcodes which FishPig support http://fishpig.co.uk/magento/wordpress-integration/shortcodes.

For security reason try not to use Magento with Wordpess

The WordPress API can function but you need the Shortcodes & Widgets add-on module. This will allow the API to work, as well as all shortcodes and widgets.
