I am trying to create an extension to store store level variables that can be referenced later in a block/widget. The documentation i have been reading is either too simple for this, or way, way over the top. Is there a reference to do this? I can make a system variable width 3 mouse clicks, but it seems like i need 7000 lines of code for a scoped variable.
