Submitting new version doesn't increment the official version

Hi,

We submitted a new version of our extension (1.0.1) few weeks ago, and we didn't get any feedback.
The version on Magento connect is still 1.0.0.
I contact Magento support, and they said to ask here.
 
I am wonding what is the process of creating new minor version of an extension.
