What name should we use in our extension & documentation - "Magento" or "Adobe Commerce"?

Hello everyone,

We provide a Magento extension and would like to know if we should update it from using the word "Magento" or "Adobe Commerce". We use the word in the extension settings and within the documentation on our website.

We have started switching to "Adobe Commerce" but Magento is a very well established name and it seems that Adobe is using both names (Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce), so it is not clear which we should use (or both!).

For example, here's a screenshot from our extension. I guess the best solution is to show "Magento" if the user is using open source and "Adobe Commerce" if the user is paying for the fully hosted solution. But is it possible to detect that and use the appropriate name?

Checking if anyone from the community or Adobe can share their thoughts on this... should we use "Magento" or "Adobe Commerce"?
