change image main color to suit search results

Is this possible please.

each product will be available in up to 16 different colors.

choose products on desired color from home page menu.

the main product image is automaticly changed to show the disired image and not the other 15 images in each product

For your requirements you need to do custom coding or create a custom extension.

In this way you can achieve your desired results:

1. Let the Customer select the product with desired color.
2. Save the customer selection in a session
3. Retrive the value from the customer session and display the image.
