Are there improvements in 2.4 that might benefit bulk product creation?

I am working on a system that will sync external products and attributes into Magento. I'm currently torn between Magento implementing a job that "sucks" the products and attributes in via available internal PHP classes or having an external system post the products and attributes as they are modified using Magento's API.

Are there any new API features in 2.4 that might guide my decision?

Magento has not disclosed yet that what will come with 2.4. But I don't think so that we will get some additional things on bulk product creation.

We are assuming:

• B2B;
• Adobe products integration
• PWA for B2B and B2C;
• GraphQL;
• Async import;
• Magento 2 Cloud-specific improvements;
• Page Builder and other extensions;
• Magento 2 inventory (MSI);
• Admin UX;
• Automated upgrades and security patches;
• Bugfixing and tests.
